The original books of the Bible were written in Hebrew (the Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament). Parts of the books of Daniel and the Gospel of Matthew would have originally written in Aramaic.

Many translations have been made over the years. In the early days of Christianity, the Hebrew Old Testament, usually in a Greek translation (see the so-called Septuagint). As the Church spread and grew, the need for translations, having accepted the sacred text widelyLocal languages and tongues. The Bible was soon translated into Latin (the language of the Roman Empire), Syriac (an Eastern Aramaic language), Coptic (Egyptian) and Arabic. From 500 AD, some estimates may have been included in the writing more than 500 languages.

Unfortunately, the translations are not always accurate and mistakes were made. be for this reason – and because they did not "normal" people are able to read the Bible – the (Roman) Catholic Church forbade any furtherTranslations, and only a certain Latin text of the Vulgate, which were translated from Greek in 600 AD known. In the 1380s the first English translation was made by John Wycliffe. By the year 1455 invented printing press (Gutenberg was) and serial capabilities made additional English versions and translations of other readily available.

Hundreds of translations into English (estimated 450) have been made over the years. Some of the best knownare: the King James (KJV, 1611), the New International Version (NIV, 1978), the New King James (NKJV, 1982), the New American Standard Bible (NASB, 1971) and the English Standard Version (ESV, 2001 ). This large number of translations is usually divided into three main categories:

Literal translation: The translation of the original text word for word in the best English equivalent words. These translations are for sometimes as interlinear translations,Placement of the English rendering of the page of the original Hebrew and Greek. Although it undoubtedly the most accurate translations, they can be read only with difficulty because the flow of the language of the original Hebrew and Greek, very different from modern English. The NASB and the ESV are good examples of literal translations.

Dynamic equivalent translations: Translations are trying this, as literally as possible, but the restructuring of sentences and grammarthe original language, English. You try to capture thoughts and intentions, what to say writer. As a result, they are easier to read in English but have a higher degree of subjective interpretation than the literal translations. These translations are the KJV, NKJV and NIV.

Contemporary Language Translations: This translation paraphrase of the thought and intent of the original text in contemporary English. The result is easy to read, but the text islargely a subjective interpretation of the translator. These versions, like the familiar and the message of the New Living Translation, should be approached with great care. Use them, perhaps for the supplementary readings, but be aware that these texts can (and often do) differ significantly from the original biblical texts.

Each translation requires interpretation. Why? Because languages do not translate one to one. That is, not every word has a unique word, to match it in the other language. Some tongues are richer in expression than English (eg Greek) or smaller vocabulary (such as Hebrew). A translator must interpret the original meaning and find an appropriate text, but that's the result, subject to the bias of the translator. Bottom line: interpretations differ and errors can occur. When translations differ considerably, the study of the original language to clarify the message.

To make things more complicated, are not a small number of NT versessupported by all the ancient manuscripts, to decide these forces translators to take on the verses. Most translators are careful to err on the safe side, and every verse reference to the reader not supported by the majority of the manuscripts.

As an illustration, we look at the Lord's Prayer from Matthew 6:9-13 in the New International Version and the King James Version:

The Lord's Prayer in the King James:

"After this manner therefore pray to her:" Our Father which art inHeaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. "

Now read the Lord's Prayer in the NIV:

"So this is how one should pray:" Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth asIt is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. "Apart from" old "English versus modern English style, the period of notice two differences in the final stanza:

"Evil" against "evil." The KJV asks for deliverance from "evil" while the NIV asks one deliver us from "evil." There is a significant difference between the two. The original GreekText actually uses an adjective with an article that "the evil" the only correct translation. When we pray, we ask you to be delivered, not from any threat, disaster, or from the evil one from the general evil of the world.

An extra sentence. Compared to the NIV KJV has an additional sentence at the end: "For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen." This is a good example of a later addition to the oldest extant GreekManuscripts. Since the NIV mentioned in a footnote: "Some manuscripts late: for yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory in eternity. Amen." Other verses in the NT have similar additions. None of them are of crucial theological consistency, but it is important to understand these variations. Therefore, the differences between the various English translations are not the result of differences in the extant (still existing) old manuscripts, but only the result of decisions(And sometimes even failure) by the translators for the translation into English.

Have experienced in the art nude paintings in varying degrees of acceptance in different cultures throughout history. It is true that the acceptance of nude art very much influenced by morality and aesthetics of the dominant society. Even certain cultures are more open to fine art nude nudity than in real life.

Changing Images of Art Nudes

Nude art has always been widespread in our society, starting in ancient times. However, the big difference is thatas he formerly served religious purposes, it is now about the aesthetics.

Fine art nude refers generally to the presentation of the artistic elements of nudity, provocative rather than its form (naked). In Europe, nude art between the Middle Ages until the late 1800s almost never a sexual overtones. In France of the 19th Century, when nudity was quite common, classical nudity was acceptable to the general public.

The earliest representation of the naked male form in the classicalArt comes from the fifth century BC, and the feminine form of the late classical period in Greek art. Archaic Greek art represented gods and heroes in heroic nudity, which continued in the Roman and classical periods. The Renaissance and the Pre-Raphaelite artists depicted the beauty and sensuality of the human form.

Changed, however, the changing social attitudes, the perception of art nude photography. For instance, the famous Renaissance painting by Michelangelo covered with fig leavesprotest art nudes. Also, the western society are perceived, less open to the inclusion of art act than other companies.

Different roles of men and women Nudes

Since the early days of playing both male and female nudes different roles. While the male nude in Greek art symbolizes ideal and real-life heroes, and presented the homoeroticism of society, female nudes, as a rule, the goddess of love, Aphrodite. This difference resulted from the inadequacy of the associatedRepresentation of the naked female form. In fact, standard double room in the fine art nude this is up to the present day.

But in Italy, the increased reliability for nude, starting in the 13th Century to the present. The idealized nude representation was used for heroism, virtue, and in important religious and historical scenes. The representation of female nudes was in the British and French art as well as prominent during the 19th Century.

In the 20th Century was a male nude artnew perspective with gay liberation, as depicted in Robert Mapplethorpe's works. It is believed that the fine art nude helps us insight into ourselves and humanity.

As you approach life with confidence or fear of failure hold you back?

You can stop spreading fear failure, learn from mistakes of the past and into the ranks of successful people.

Whether you trust or events with a back face of fear, otherwise, depends in part on how you view it. It is time to do battle with your thoughts.

I am probably not as much as I do, but I no longer afraid to make mistakes to do so because I stopped to think, as the failureFailure.

True failure is when something does not work as expected, and you learn nothing from experience. The failure, if you are trying to stop.

So give yourself permission to make mistakes and decide to stop, fail to fear. No one starts an expert! Decide to stop that you beat yourself and get to learn from your mistakes.

Next time, if something does not turn out as expected, ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" "How can I do itbetter next time? "

"You must always pass failure on your way to success." Mickey Rooney

Take a look at the failure as an opportunity – the chance to learn from mistakes and take stock.

"Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently." Henry Ford

In your quest for success, you will make mistakes along the way, but that does not mean you make a mistake. Remember that

"Failure is an event, a person before." – William D. Brown

Confirm theStart that you make mistakes and realize that it is a part of the learning process.

Thomas Edison said: "I have not failed. I have only 10,000 ways that will not work found."

Failure does not mean you are a failure … It just means you are not yet succeeded. "Robert Schuller

"Try again. Fail again. Fail better". Samuel Beckett

Learn from past mistakes. Judge what happened.

Confronted with the same situation

=> What would you change about your,Setting?

=> How would you do differently?

Are you ready to try again and to approach events with a different way of thinking and new found confidence?

Workshops are a serious matter. Workshops hosting companies love to say only, they provide the training. Speakers throughout the nation have tried to train to the workshop, become the next big guru jumped.

Who should run with valuable information and remarkable skills a successful workshop. You should, because although workshops are sprouting everywhere, there are not enough to accommodate them all. But in order for you on asuccessful workshop, which means something, then you have to avoid some mistakes of others.

Avoid Mixed Signals

If you perform a particular workshop, it should fit your profile. You can not tell men to the loyalty of the women if you cheat. You can not perform inspirational workshops, if you are depressed. They should not cause people to believe that you are a millionaire and you can help them as much money if you leave the workshop are in your rusty van.

You have to believewhat you on the implementation of the workshop. My art workshops are on my ability to make art and teach art. Anyone can learn how to do art and I instill that lesson in everyone I meet. I do not know anything parade, I do not know. I believe in my workshop and it is very much a part of my life.

Either Know It All or Do not Be A Know-It-All

There is so much to know about a topic that is literally impossible to know everything. But some speakers try to push as if they know all the answers. Some speakers like Anthony Robbins or Dr. Phil would have all the answers to their subject. But most of us do not. And it is in order.

If you do not know anything about your topic, do not be afraid to let your audience know. This moment would normally have the question and answer period. One of your viewers might ask a question that also do not know you. For my art workshops, I have the opportunity tohave my audience back. So, I usually a question I can not answer with a statement that I do not know, I'll look for it and back again to them about it the next time I see them.

It is much more credible, because most people directly by a person that make up an answer, see how they can go along. Most people understand that no man can know everything about any one topic. And how you handle your question is not brush off, that means that they should lookAnswer yourself. You are ready to go one step further and find out by the next time I meet with them.

Have Passion

A speaker who has no passion for their subject a lousy speaker. No matter how much you know, no matter how much you bet, your audience is through, you'll see soon enough. I went into a hallway at a seminar and heard one of the speakers said: "They are so stupid. I can not bear how close they are. I ask only one question and allsits there like a piece of a tree trunk. "

I understand the frustration. But if the passion is not there, do not expect the audience to do on your work. And if you do not care about your audience, so you need to, they feel taken, maybe they saw through you. Maybe they saw that not sure that much over them, so they do not show you either all respects.

Three simple things that need to remember to gain the attention of the audience and keep them. Avoid sending mixedSignals do not act like you all know and have passion. The world is full of fakes. The world has seen its share of fakes. Be for real and you stand out in a heartbeat.

It is no surprise that America has an obesity epidemic.

Among the developed nations the United States is the world's worst obesity at a rate more than twice as many European countries.

The most recent statistics put the United States than 30% of the population, it is in the "obese" category.

30 %!!!! The three are overweight by 10 people in the U.S..

This excess weight come from a variety of additional challenges. As for a depression.

So with 30% of the population of the countryOverweight and depressed, it's no wonder the diet industry has a murderous in recent years.

Nutrition and diet have been the best seller # 1 in all venues. Online, in the pharmacy, the retail trade had diets in a multi-billion dollar industry with one year no end sight.

With all that choice and claims of success, as you know what will work for you?

The easiest way to have a friend who has successfully changed her life, show you the ropes.Often friend that is not to be someone next door or around the corner. You may have a new friend you to find help in your weight loss goals.

Once you trust that the person is a mentor you go, and guide you and coach you change your life transformation, you can concentrate on your life always on the line.

Studies show that individual support can mean the difference between success and failure in the under-take a lifestyle change.

Remember, thisBy the way, if you call someone will have excuses for your response, you tend to stop these excuses and focus on the targets.

Support groups have a long history of success. See AA and NA. The people attending this meeting and other sponsor success is based on the personal care, which together of like minded people to achieve something important comes.

is the founder of Visalus that out. They knew that if they wanted to set itselfApart from other diet companies, they have both an exceptional product and the best support system to have available.

Is art today usually created by considering the context?

It is interesting about the criteria by which an image as a work of art or think not define. The continuous flow of images distributed over the Internet gave me the opportunity to think about it. What happens if a work of art was now merely the consequence of it just context?

Has anyone experienced something unpleasant to see the image of a child dying of hunger, beautifully printed on chromogenic paper, framed and mattedin an art exhibition? Is the image of a dying child, a true work of art?

I have seen pictures in galleries, which were both technically and aesthetically inferior, some of the pictures I have seen in contemporary specialized agency. For example, if the shinny Close-up of a mouth, printed on glossy paper and delivered to the Post Office instead of framed and displayed in a top-class museum, the picture would be redefined as a work of art? Would it be better than some works of art in the museum itselfCollection? In other words, the same picture on where it appears to be redefined? I think so. It is therefore the intention behind the use and the context that the contemplation of a work of art, will not create the image itself.

The concept of discovery will gradually become obsolete based on the current nature of the Internet, making it impossible to determine who has done what, at first. It is quite possible that the criteria of a definition of art has changed completely, now more thanever, and that the existing remains of the 19th Century conception of art is in question, has become a thing of the past, once and for all.
